Dirt one day, pavement the next. From confident commuting to fire road exploring, the Quick CX 4 is built to thrive wherever your adventure leads. A SmartForm alloy frame sets the stage with the responsiveness and low weight, while a Suntour suspension fork takes the edge off rough paths and chunky roads. The CX 4's wide-range 24-speed Shimano drivetrain takes you anywhere you want to go, powering Panaracer Comet Hardpack tires that grip a variety of surfaces so you can explore that social trail with confidence. Tektro provides supreme, all-weather braking power with hydraulic disc brakes and Cannondale's own cockpit components make for a comfortable ride with tight control that dials up the fun.

I picked this bike up as soon as I could after seeing it in my LBS. It is dead sexy. Black with subtle Metalic Gray Logo and anodized Red accents (just enough color) This is my first Hybrid bike and the geometry is great. Very comfortable. Disc Brakes are perfect (aside from a bit squeeky, they stop how they should!) shifting is responsive. I set it up with a Bontrager seatpost rack and bag for all of my stuff: Lock, Inflation kit, Lunch, Clothes for work.. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a dynamite bike to ride on a daily basis.

This bike was a "gift" but i picked it out. I spent a very long time researching the Specialized Crosstrail series and the Trek PDX and the FX line. I wanted something that would be fast on road, but rugged enough to take my wieght, 290lb. No one in my city had either of those bikes. On an off chance i went to my local outdoors shop( a truly local shop, not a [...]) and a close friend of mine was working and we spent the better part of an hour trying out various cannondales and a couple other brands, most of which were way out of my price range. THis bike beats the hell out of the Trek PDX and though it isn't as beefy as the specialized, it is lighter and faster. The bike puts you in an upright position which is a bit wierd since i've only ridden mountain bikes for the last decade, but it is nice. The saddle is really comfortable, but because i'm out of shape, i put a softer seat on it that sould support my wieght better. Anyone smaller than me wouldn't have any problems with the seat at all. Weather permitting, i try and use my bike for commuting, exercise, and recreation. It has 700c x 37 tires, so there aren't too small, but they aren't too big either. The frame is pretty light, not as light as it could be, but then again it was only 585.00 for it after tax( thank you black friday). The first night i had it i tried to bunny hop it onto a curb and the back tre caught the curb and blew out a tube. i put a slightly smaller tube with less air in it and haven't had a problems since. the disc breaks work very well, but they do squeek. All and all i would recommend this bike for entry level/ moderate bicycling for commuting. It will also do well or very well maintained paths.
